A computer science student with major interest in web and internet marketing generally. Content writing is also a calling.
Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging due to my strong passion for writing and sharing knowledge. I have won series of online writing contests and I decided or probably concluded that if all my writing efforts are channeled toward creating contents for my own blog, it would be a great sense and sure it did. I never wanted to go too wide, so I started blogging about education by basically writing on trending or pressing issues around me, as a student.
What blogging mistake do you think most bloggers are making?
Going into blogging for the money is one of the major mistakes in recent time. As earlier mentioned, I started blogging for passion and later on, the money started coming organically. I never actually made any real income for the first year of steady writing as a blogger but it never moved me. Another mistake bloggers make is not being unique. Doing the same thing the same way others do it won’t make you get ahead of them, they end up becoming “one of those bloggers”.
Which blogger is your role model?
What would you say is your #1 blogging challenge and how did you solve it.
Well, I can’t actually remember any real challenge but if I must mention, I would say my major challenge was time. Blogging requires loads of time and I actually often need to keep late nights to get things done. Funny how the late nights are kept two years ago are just paying off now.
Thank you Kayode. Now over to you, which blogging challenge is keeping you up at night?
